Garden Garden Design Greystones | Owen Chubb Garden Landscapers

A very long and family garden in Greystones, Co Wicklow provides the initial canvass for this garden design assignment.   The owners had a wishlist of elements to be included in the design but in no strict order or position. These included a summerhouse, an orchard, a water/pond feature, a rose garden, a lawn area, generous planted borders with scope for deep rich herbaceous planting potential but no onerous plant maintenance requirements. Given the availability and abundance of space, the owners keen interest to enjoy the outdoors to the fullest possible extent, a generous patio space was a given. A wild area was also an item of interest.   The design challenge was to develop a layout which seamlessly linked all the various elements on the wishlist and the end result was a garden full of features and some surprises.
