Family Garden Landscaping - building new garden walls

As soon as site works permitted, work commenced on constructing the new garden walls with 4" solid concrete blocks. As works progressed the defining boundary lines became increasingly visible and with it, the sense of a new garden albeit at a very early stage, beginning to evolve.

As construction advances, allows us to begin fitting the wall cappings and applying the sand and cement rendered finishes. It is a slow and very weather dependent phase, and as we discovered unfortunately suffering the consequences of very sudden and heavy rainfall causing us a lot of disruption and delays. The completion of wall construction and rendering concludes the remaining part of Phase II of the project and marks a significant point within the overall project. So far our focus had been to clear the site and construct new boundary walls. From this point on, all works will be within the confines of the boundary and directly involve the construction and implementation of elements of the new garden design. The first element and a very important design element is the construction of the Raised Planting Beds and for this large Family garden site, big will be beautiful.
