Dublin Landscaping Garden Design
Works continued on this landscaping and garden deisgn project in Sandyford, Dublin 16 to build a new driveway. Extensive spreading of the hardcore throughout the expansive driveway area was quickly followed by blinding (covering sub-base with a layer of hardcore dust) and repeatedly compacted to effectively seal the sub-base but provide a permeable but stable barrier to any potential churning of sub-base with ornamental surface layer.
Granite setts and granite kerbing were positioned and made ready for the commencement of some landscaping construction marking a new phase in the project and the new layout clearly emerging. Good ground preparation is essential in all driveway projects but most especially on a large sloping site in order to provide a reasonable but safe and stable base for the loose stone surface finish.
